On the way to healing my Hashimoto’s and getting my body refined enough to continue to hold a higher frequency, there are things I’ve learned recently that have made a world of difference (and I’ve been dieting on and off since I was 15).
I’m down 45 lbs overall, 33 lbs this year, feeling better than I have in decades.
 
These are things that shocked me:
 
๐Ÿคฏ If your organs aren’t working, nothing will work. It doesn’t matter what you eat or don’t eat, or how much you exercise- you can’t override your body just simply not working right. You’ve got to bring everything online before you’ll be able to see a change.
 
๐Ÿคฏ In order to get your body working, you have to take out wayyyyyyyy more than you think. I thought just removing my food sensitivities and cutting out wheat would do it. Nope! I’m down to 8 foods - that’s it.
 
๐Ÿคฏ You have to eat wayyyyyyyyyyyy more than you think is even possible. In the beginning, I felt like I was force feeding myself to get all my meals in.
 
๐Ÿคฏ You have to balance consistency and resistance… and it’s a delicate balance.
The closer you get to ๐Ÿ’ฏ consistency, the faster you will see results. The results are necessary to keep up the momentum of the rigidity of the choices it takes to get your body healthy & working.
But the closer to ๐Ÿ’ฏ your consistency, the higher your resistance and the more you activate homeostasis. You have to give in a little, in very managed bursts to relieve some of the resistance and then you have to click back into consistency in order to keep up the previous momentum. ๐Ÿ˜… Like I said, a delicate balance.
 
๐Ÿคฏ You need to have an outside point of accountability, preferably someone who is firm, but won’t shame you when you go awry (which is gonna happen, since you’re human). Homeostasis (the body’s innate drive to stay the same) WILL override all logic & reason in low energy moments.
Without a point of accountability, the likelihood it will hijack your choices is ๐Ÿ’ฏ.
 
๐Ÿคฏ One (or a few in a row) bad days don’t ruin anything.
There is a tricky thing about reintroducing sugar into your system after you’ve unhooked - the guys in your guts get really attached, super fast.
But it’s all manageable. It’s all redeemable. All inflammation comes back off. The key is to catching the momentum building in the opposite direction and reversing it back to align with why you care about your health journey.
 
๐Ÿคฏ If you have an end date, a goal weight or anything that signifies to your brain “when we get โ„Ž๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘’, we are done” you’re fucked.
Because you aren’t building sustainable habits. You are holding your breath for a moment to get to a temporary goal. The moment you let your breath back out, all your old behaviors will kick back in. They didn’t go anywhere. They just kicked rocks until you were done with this “fad”.
 
Changing behaviors is an ongoing process, which will lead to the ultimate freedom of your “new” behaviors becoming your automatic programming a.k.a. the way your brain and body just “works” without conscious thought. Until you get to ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘Ž๐‘ก point, you have to pay attention.
 
I know I’m only scratching the surface with my health, and I’m sure I’ll learn a lot more about myself along the way but it feels really great to feel really great ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿฅฐ
